• Account Data: When you create an Empire ID, we store your unique identifier, email address, and display name via our secure auth provider (Logto).
• Usage Data: We store chat history, voice notes, images, and documents you send to AIM so that the AI can maintain context and memory.
• Device Data: We may collect basic, anonymized telemetry from the web app to ensure stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly to provide our services:

• To generate AI responses and maintain your conversational memory.
• To process voice-to-text and image analysis (via Nebulae).
• To manage your Empire ID and authenticate your account.
• To improve the accuracy and cultural relevance of our African AI models.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted, industry-standard partners to operate our infrastructure. None of these partners are allowed to sell your data:

• Logto: Handles secure password management and authentication.
• Telegram: If you use the AIM bot, Telegram processes the delivery of your messages.
• AI Providers (Gemini, DeepSeek, Groq): We use their APIs to process text and voice. We send only what is necessary for the immediate response.
• Supabase: Our secure, encrypted database provider where your memory and profile are stored.

4. Data Security

We implement strict security measures, including encrypted databases and secure API keys, to protect your data from unauthorized access. However, no digital system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can update your email and password directly via your Empire ID (Logto) dashboard. If you wish to completely delete your chat history and account, please contact our support team.

6. Children's Privacy

Empire Union services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or via the AIM bot.
